Hi Stephen,

My work commute basically follows Beacon from Porter to Kendall, so it's 
been a lot of fun watching the new bike lane striping process.  In the 
past, I've joked that you can tell when you exit Somerville and enter 
Cambridge because the roads suddenly become both marked and paved.  It's 
really great to see Somerville catching up!  Do you know what group was 
responsible for getting the bike lane markings started?  If it was the 
Bicycle Committee, please pass on my thanks (and my hopes that a re-paving 
will soon follow).
