FW: Opportunity for Bike Lanes on Broadway from Teele to PowderhouseWow, it always seemed like Broadway was wider than Beacon.
Sorry I can't help. I'm leaving Friday night for a weeklong conference in Monterey, CA.

Brian and I plan to meet at 10 am on Sunday morning to do some measurements and Jim has offered to post no-parking signs on Sunday as well..
I did some preliminary measuring yesterday..
From Teele to Lovell: 43 feet wide and already striped with 12 foot travel and 9+ foot parking lanes
From Lovell to Packard: No striping 44 feet plus..
Past Paulina: 46 feet plus..

Terry Smith indicated that there's an opportunity to stripe bike lanes on Broadway from Teele Square to Powderhouse on Wednesday May 21st...
I will need to following assistance:
0. Assistance measuring the width of Broadway and assessing the appropriate width for travel, bike and parking lanes. Between Powderhouse and Paulina - we may have as much as four feet of additional pavement width..(70 feet total ROW including sidewalks). After Paulina the ROW narrows to 65 feet - narrower than some stretches of Beacons Street. I would like to be able to do that by Friday.
1. The weekend of May 17/18 - assistance posting "No Parking Signs"
2. Assistance putting "dots" on Broadway.. my schedule permits doing this either Monday or Tuesday morning of next week.. probably will happen on Tuesday since Ilya can help that day..
Please let me know if you're available to help..
Steve
