Please work with our Communications Department before scheduling this
with outside groups. We will do a the ribbon cutting/celebration with
the Mayor when he returns but send out a press release tomorrow or
Monday announcing the completion in time for Bike to Work.

Subject: Beacon Street... Grand Opening - Bike to Work Week.. 

 

Next Tuesday I hope to get the final touches done on the Beacon Street
bike lanes including the final stenciling.. 

My thought would be to have a Ribbon Cutting / Celebration on Wednesday
morning or Friday morning. The Mayor's not available so I am thinking
that the Bike Committee and Mary Anne Hueston can be stand - ins.. 

Let me know your availability next Wednesday or Friday ..
