[SBC] beacon striping

We were able to lay-out the lanes from Oxford to almost Johnny's Foodmaster so we have a bit farther to go on lay-outs.. The parking stripe has been painted in the areas that have been marked. 
 
As you know, we could not lay-out lanes between Oxford and Prentiss inbound to Inman because the centerline was so far off.. This was also the case outbound to Porter between Washington and Waldo. . 
 
The plan is to finish the lay-out Tuesday May 6 beginning at 8:00 PM and continuing until 4 AM.. We also complete the striping at that time as well.. 
 
Alan and Jim: would you be able to post signs on Sunday May 4th on the stretch of the street that has not been temporarily laid-out (from Johnny's to Inman)
I can get one of you the signs sometime mid-Saturday or by 9 am Sunday..

looks like you finished up some good work last night. I rode the length this morning.
what's the status now? are we doing the bike lane tonight? when will they continue laying out the  lines to the city line, looks like they stopped at a block before?

You are correct.. we'll be starting Wednesday at 8 pm and going until 4 am Thursday.. If its not done we'll need to repost the signs over the weekend..  We'll be meeting the contractor at Oxford and Beacon.. 
 
I am going to propose that we start to stripe the out-bound side of Beacon (the Patsie's side) Wed into Thursday since parking is banned on that side anyway.. 
 
If need be, I am also going to see if Terry can set-up the 2nd day of striping for Monday in Tuesday and do the in-bound side that night..

I figure with the rain, the city will not begin striping Beacon this evening.
