*Make Your Voice Heard on the Green Line Extension Project!*

We hope you will join us at civic engagement meetings around the region to
discuss the best route and station locations for this new MBTA service in
Cambridge, Somerville, and Medford.  The Green Line Extension Project is an
initiative of the Massachusetts Executive Office of Transportation & Public
Works, in coordination with the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority.

*Project General Information Meeting - Wednesday, January 23
*Medford City Hall Council Chambers
85 George P. Hassett Drive, Medford
6:30 - 8:30 PM (6:00 PM, Open House)

This meeting will provide an opportunity for those less familiar with the
project to be updated about the Green Line Extension Project.  Topics will
include a project overview, history, proposed project route and station
locations, the Community Path, and next steps.  There will be a follow-up
general meeting in late February that will be advertised at a later date.

*Station Workshops*
The project team will hold workshops in neighborhoods for which new Green
Line stations have been proposed.  Our goal in these meetings is to gather
your ideas on the proposed station locations, design elements, and potential
neighborhood impacts.
Each workshop will focus on different neighborhood areas.
All meetings are from 6:30 - 8:30 PM, with an Open House at 6:00 PM.

*Monday, January 28, Somerville High School Library*
81 Highland Ave., Somerville
Topic: This meeting will focus on stations proposed for the Washington
Street, Gilman Square, and Inner Belt/Brickbottom neighborhoods (in the
vicinity of the existing Lowell Commuter Rail Line).

259 Lowell St., Somerville
Topic: This meeting will focus on stations proposed for the Magoun Square
(Lowell Street) and Ball Square neighborhoods (in the vicinity of the
existing Lowell Commuter Rail Line).

*Thursday, January 31, Sophia Gordon Hall, Tufts University
*15 Talbot Ave., Somerville (Talbot Ave. is off College Ave. at the city
line)
Topic: This meeting will focus on stations proposed for the College Avenue
and Winthrop Street neighborhoods (in the vicinity of the existing Lowell
Commuter Rail Line).

*Wednesday, February 6, South Medford Fire Station Community Room
*Zero Medford St., Medford
Topic: This meeting will focus on the proposed stations in the Mystic Valley
Parkway area (near the intersection of the Lowell Commuter Rail Line and
Route 16/Mystic Valley Parkway).

*Tuesday, February 19, Cummings School Gymnasium*
93 School St., Somerville
*New date and location*
Topic:  This meeting will focus on the potential alignments for a proposed
station location in the Union Square area.
