Lots of bad news about transportation funding in the news, but it looks like
the green line extension into Medford is safe. I'm not clear whether this
includes the extension to Union Square.

Partnership:
The Transportation Finance Commission analysis of Massachusetts funding
shortfall* includes no expansions or enhancements (using state funds) other
than $750 million of Boston Region Transit Projects included in the State
Implementation Plan. The "Green Line Extension to Medford" is $610 million
of the $750.

*[EK comment: Shortfall looms large. No money for a multitude of planned,
not inexpensive projects.]
