[SBC] cost of bike parking

Hi Steve-

I would lean towards either PVC or galvanized steel, as either seems to have a longer maintainence-free life. Powder-coating will eventually scratch, and then the City would have to either repaint or scape off the rest of the covering. Not very appealing. Perhaps there's some experience we can draw upon from other communities?

Can you please clarify #1. below: My understanding was that the "rack style" (inverted U) selection is to be reviewed by the SBC, DPW, SPCD, Mayor, etc., and then presented to the business district contacts. The "contacts" are not "selecting" the "rack styles".
