This is a terrific example of how Somerville can be made better for cyclists!

One-way streets take away from that. And this is one area where the SBC could be more pro-active. It is fraught with challenges, but well worth the effort when the desired result is achieved. 

I'm thrilled that there was neighborhood support for keeping Vernon St. two-way.

My only question is: what if this had not appeared in Denise's e-newsletter? How would any of us known this was coming up?

Steve or Terry: Does the Traffic Commission send out an agenda before meetings? Can the SBC officers email address can be added?
