Hi Folks,

 

I would like to request some assistance in getting the word out for an
upcoming public meeting regarding Alewife Reservation.

 

Details:

 

Subject:            DCR update on Alewife Reservation Master Plan
implementation.  The meeting will focus on an update on the recent
restoration of the ADL/Bullfinch parking lot area.  Plans for completing
this restoration in spring of 2007 will be presented.

                        

                        In addition, the DCR and its consultant (the
Bioengineering Group, Inc.) will present details of the design for a new DCR
pathway that will provide a key connection between the Minuteman Bikeway and
the Mystic River Reservation.  Appropriate ecological restoration of the
Alewife Brook corridor will be a primary element of the new path design.
Adequate time for public input and comment will be provided.

 

            Date:                November 20, 2006

 

            Time:                6:30pm - 8:30pm

 

            Location:           Arlington Public Library (Seminar Room)

 

 

Tyler, could you please let me know what additional information you will
need to do a press release in Arlington, Cambridge, Belmont and Somerville
for this meeting.

 

Bernie, could you please help make sure all appropriate elected officials
are informed.  Happy to help as is necessary.
