Hi Ron,

I just wanted to let you know that several of us have been urging the  
Chairman of Ways and Means to release Anne Paulen's Bicyclists' Bill  
of Rights with a positive recommendation. It appears that the only  
such bill we might get to vote on is one which, as Anne says, has  
"had the guts ripped out of it."  Leadership says that the original  
is too favorable to bicyclists. What can be done in this climate will  
take time and perseverance.
