I have a SATA harddrive with a working Ubuntu installation on my
computer. Unfortunately, I have need for winXP. So, I have
an IDE drive laying around here which I intend on plugging into my
desktop and installing windows on. In the past, I have had
problems with grub being confused because of 2 mbr's or some such
nonsense. So, my question is, can anyone point me to the most
elegant way of plugging in the drive and installing xp and keeping grub
in the know of what is going on and be reasonably sure that xp doesn't
mess with the SATA drive at all. <br clear="all"><br>-- <br>Grace and Peace,<br>Karl Sokol<br><br>"Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, <br>in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, <br>at all the times you can, to all the people you can,
