[Linux-disciples] Keyboard and mouse cut out

apt-build redirect /usr/bin/gcc to a wrapper; which then points to gcc-3.
This would seem to be a perfect candidate for the alternatives system,
but it's not. At least on my system, installing apt-build diverts gcc to
gcc-3.3.
