[Linux-disciples] Systemwide cgi-bin

Incidentally, I think all of this is due to the basic awkwardness of a
program that was really written to be installed on a per-user basis being
Debianized, where Debian packages are really intended for system-wide
installation. There are a number of similar cgi-type packages with this
problem.
For myself, I just get the tarball and install it in my own cgi-bin, but
obviously then you lose the automatic upgradability.
