<BODY>Running reds is one thing: both stupid and dangerous. But there's no reason a person on a bike should have to wait at a red light when no one is coming and it's perfectly safe to cross. That, to me, is what a child who hasn't yet learned to reason needs to do. I don't think bikers or pedestrians should be made to wait at a light just "beause." (Actually, neither should cars, but you have to draw the line somewhere and we all know what Boston drivers would do with a privilege like that!)<BR><BR><BR>
