June 200</title></head><body>
<div>Ashlie,</div>
<div><br></div>
<div>Did you ever get any feedback? I have to say, it seems unlikely
to happen in Boston, with its spirit of contentiousness. But, I'd be
curious.</div>
<div><br></div>
<div>I just got back from the WNBR in Chicago, where the police
shepherd over a thousand naked and near-naked cyclists over three
hours through the streets to universal applause. I'm sure it's a great
promotion of cycling in a city in some ways more and in some ways less
conducive to cycling than Boston, and a great promotion for the city.
But do you think we could convince Menino of that? Do you suppose he
ever chats with Daley about biking?</div>

here's the main site for reference...<br>

I was hoping to step up as organizer for this event and would like the
expertise from Critical Mass regarding legalities and promotion.<br>
<br>
I am intending on participating in the next crit mass ride on Feb 27 -
if anyone is interested in this -- let me know..<br>
