So he may not have lost his bike but he may have been seriously injured or worse. Would we still feel the same apathy for James? He simply asked, how good should we feel when a possibly “repeat offender” is taken off the street (for a period of time) without any avenues toward rehabilitation. Even without supposing that it was for a drug habit, there are little to no opportunities or training for job training. As Paul mentioned, the person is going to face serious CORI problems with employers (and this would be true even if he was acquitted), though that issue has been gaining greater attention recently.</SPAN></FONT></div>
