I have just completed a short 17 minute film entitled,
"All in a days ride, towards a bicycling future for Metro Boston".
It's an advocacy and documentary film about the current bicycling conditions in
the Metro Boston area and provides practical suggestions for improving the
situation. There is footage of bicycling in a variety of urban and suburban
bicycling situations and the narrative shows what a bicyclist has to think
about as they encounter various road hazards. Some commentary is made about our
current reliance on automobile use and progress that has been made in improving
our public transit system.

This film also identifies the Washington St. Silver Line
corridor as a possible model for a shared bus/bike transit solution and shows
what it is like to bicycle on that route. Emphasis is made on bicycling as a
transportation activity in addition to its recreational benefits.

The film is accessible on the internet via two halfs and
