</font><br><br><font size="2">This exciting event will channel the spirit of the Boston Tea Party by featuring an exciting act of colonial-themed street theater! 21st-century patriots will square off against billionaire coal and oil executives in a battle for a sustainable energy future. The Boston Coal Party is one of hundreds of public events being held worldwide in solidarity with the next round of international climate change negotiations, which are being held in Nairobi, Kenya this November. The Boston Coal Party also presents us with an exciting opportunity right before the Nov. 7 elections to send a message to elected officials and candidates that we want them to take strong action on climate and energy issues. In addition to the street theater performance, the event will also feature musical interludes, a few brief speeches, and tabling and literature from various organizations.
