Memorial Foundation Fundraiser—Sunday, Oct. 2 in

16 year-old bicyclist who was killed when he was hit by a driver with a
suspended license. Our Pioneer Valley chapter has worked closely with Kevin’s
mother, Sheila, to raise awareness about safety issues on the road. Kevin’s
Memorial Foundation is having a fundraiser on Sunday, Oct. 2 from 5:00—9:00 p.m.
at the Knights of Columbus in Chicopee. Tickets are $35 in advance or $40

enjoy bicycling to join its Bicycle Committee.<SPAN

issues and reviews major development and roadway plans from a cyclist
perspective. Committee applicants should be enthusiastic cyclists who live in
Cambridge, can attend monthly meetings, and are willing to work on projects. The
Bicycle Committee meets on the second Wednesday of the month from 5:30 to 7:30

“Bow Tie” bike ride around the city on Sunday, Oct. 2 (with a 6 mile option for
kids/families), celebrating the fact that the <SPAN
style="mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt">city of Cambridge is shaped like a bow tie.
This will be a gorgeous autumn ride, at an easy pace on mostly level terrain.
Both bike rides meet at 10:15am at Cambridge Common and depart at 10:30am. Rain
date: Sunday October 9th, with same departure
