advocates who called or wrote to Governor Romney last week regarding potential
cuts to bicycling funds, due to a mandate from the federal government that the
state give back some of its transportation funding. MassBike is keeping close
watch on the situation and the administration has told us they believe the
give-back will have no effect on the state’s ability to deliver on current or
proposed bike and pedestrian projects. We are awaiting their more detailed
