Most popular citybikes here in Amsterdam, are single speeds with coaster
break and the woman models called "Omafietsen" which means "Granny Bikes".
They last a lifetime, are super low maintenance and convenient in almost any
scenario (even to take a girl on a

!)

Not sure how many of the bikes in the list below are available in the US but
these brands are the most popular here in The Netherlands:
