Indeed, there were pedestrians present. I would not have gone through 
the intersection if I felt like I were endangering any pedestrians. I'm 
not someone who practically mows down pedestrians in crosswalks. I do 
care. I was the third and last in a row of bikers to go through the 
crosswalk -- the pedestrians in the cross walk were going the other 
direction and were well out of the way. We all got corraled by the cop 
after the crosswalk.

I'm not trying to justify my running of the red -- I know it's illegal 
and I deserved what I got.
