[*BCM*] Just got "pulled over" for running a red on Mass. Ave.

Two of my friends have gotten such tickets.  Both on Mass ave in front
of the city hall/post office, both rolling through the intersection
with the walk signal in their favor, but the light red.  The cops seem
to be most enthusiastic about ticketing bicyclists on "bike to work"
week.  Twisted.

The lesson I learned was to hop off and walk my bike through red
lights if I'm in a hurry and cops are watching.  You're a pedestrian
if you're walking a bike.  They smile and shake their head when you do
that.
