Are there any sorta cruisy (ie, not going flat out training for a  
race) group rides in Boston?

The main reason I ride with CM is just because it's fun to cruise with  
other people. Corking I can kinda take or leave... The set up of the  
LA CM as described by you sounds pretty cool.
