[*BCM*] does this make sense (128 bike lane)

That *would* be awesome.  Minneapolis converted a significant number of
their grade-separated, unused freight train rights-of-way into fantastic
bike paths.  You can bike right in to the middle of the city and never
see a single car.  Too bad their hundreds of miles of bike paths are
unusable for so many months.
