Right. The "world I want to live in" is one where the roads aren't choked
with SUVs and car fumes. Obviously, Baghdad is my ideal city! If motorists
are the American occupation force and the insurgents are bikers, hand me my
kalash and get out of my way.

Yeah, I was pointing out that Iraq looks a lot like the kind of world
that you, John, described you wanted to live in - warring factions with 
lots of spite and anger and violence.  Is that not what you want?
