Go on an actual ride to experience Critical Mass.  That is the way to find out.  If you don't like it, come back to the list and complain.  The list and the ride don't have all that much in common.  One is made up of words, the other, action.  Your experience may be completely apolitical.

  Based on the newpaper write-up I had originally thought joining the bike rides in Boston would be a fun, social activity. I'm glad I have seen all these e-mails. I didn't realize I would be joining a "movement" and that the group I wanted to enjoy riding with has to be seen as "lefty". 

  If anyone has information on other riding groups that aren't as politically charged. could you please forward? Thanks!
