See, I don't think this is the case at all. As far as I'm concerned,
anyone who wants cops to crack down on biker's more is about as
bike-friendly as a drunk ape driving an SUV. But seriously, we've already
argued that point to death here.

I ride critical mass because it makes me feel safe biking in numbers, and
that feeling helps me get through the rest of the month when i bike alone.
But that isn't why the next guy rides, and I like that. We all bring what
we want to the ride, and take what we need from it (dare I say it is
communistic?). Making it a 'protest' of this or that, or having
cheerleaders for this or that takes away from this.

I'm also confused as to the purpose of this list. I would guess that maybe
a half of the people on it don't regularly come to critical mass, and that
less than a tenth of the people who do come even know about it.
