[*BCM*] "Ok, so let me make sure I got this clear...... ".

Bob, I'm not really interested in, nor have I taken any issue with one thing or another
about your trying to make peace between MassBike and CM, as really I see it as a
non-issue. Trying to make peace between a leaderless organization and another group
seems Quixotic at least, and I for one haven't really seen any of this as a MB v. CM
fight. While CM members are certainly free to join MassBike, participation in CM or not
is not one of the criteria for joining, well, anything so far as I know, so it has no
real bearing on the issue of a MB Metro Boston chapter.

There was no point in my turning up last night. It was a group to organize a metro
Boston chapter of a group I don't want to belong to. So why should I turn up and disrupt
things? That would be rude at a minimum, and stupid to boot.

I had no idea who you were, and you didn't say in what capacity you wrote last night's
notes, but they did start with MB's goal of doubling their membership, and put forth your
view (which I did not know was not an official MB view from your writing) that members
shouoldn't get involved in infrastructure.
