[*BCM*] Studded Snow Tires for Bikes

If somebody has already mentioned this
sorry for being redundant;

My winter riding tip is:
Get studded snow tires. Nokia (a brand from Finland)
makes a great studded mountain bike tire.
The studs are not huge sharp spikes but short, blunt, stubs.
They really help on snow and ice and you can certainly ride them on
asphalt too.

In the winter of 2003, I used both front and rear studded tires.
Last year I only used the studded tire on the back--and that worked
fine.
(P.S. I ordered mine from a local bike shop in Amherst, MA)

happy riding!
