Crazy Turtle's Activist Offer:

Here is an unusual deal to those who are interested in making changes
(bicycle related or otherwise). Random Turtle Productions is offering
the brand new book "Don't Think of an Elephant" by George Lakoff to
anyone who wants it for whatever price they can afford to pay -
anywhere from FREE on up to whatever you want to donate.

Why should you read this book? Well, do you want to know how politics
really works? Do you want to understand how to get people to not only
listen to you but even offer to help you? Lakoff's book gives the best
analysis of why some activist groups succeed while others fail. This
analysis may be the key to achieving some real change for once. This
book is aimed at the current US Presidential election, but the ideas in
it are universal and will be useful in any progressive movement -
whether it be sustainable transportation or equal rights. It may even
lead to marital bliss!

But before you order a book, you may want to read an excerpt from it at:
http://www.alternet.org/mediaculture/19811/

If you like what you read, and want to read more, then please get a copy
of the book, one way or another. If you want to order it from Random
Turtle Productions, or have a question as to what the crazy Turtle
person is up to now, contact me at:

Please make any checks out to Turil Cronburg. Any extra money left
(after covering my costs to buy the books and ship them) will go back
into to the cause of getting the book out to those who can use it.
There will be absolutely no profits by Random Turtle Productions (which
is a not-for-profit organization)! For your reference, the book retails
at $10 and is a small paperback, and I have 25 copies to get rid of.

Happy sustainable commuting!
