[BCN] Cohousing info session, Sawyer Hill Ecovillage, Sunday Feb 24, noon

Hi all,

It may seem like winter, but there's a green village growing in Berlin MA!
I'm a member of Camelot Cohousing, one of two cohousing neighborhoods in
Sawyer Hill Ecovillage, which is under construction right now. As a former
cooper, I'd like to invite you to an info session about our communities and
homes this Sunday, and a tour of the community under construction the
following Sunday.

We have both market rate 1 to 4 BR homes, and 40B affordable units of 1 to 3
BRs, all high quality green construction, as well as lots of shared
amenities and over 25 acres of woods in permanent conservation. Not to
mention, lots of friendly and interesting neighbors!

Information Session:

Sunday, Feb 24th
noon to 1pm (please arrive 15 min early so we can chat!)
National Grid
55 Bearfoot Road
Northborough

Take 495 (North or South) to 290 W.
Take the second exit, 25A – toward Hudson Street/Northboro
At the light merge right onto Solomon Pond Rd.
You will quickly go though one light.
At the next light take a Right onto Bear Foot Rd. ( 0.7 miles)
Go 0.2 miles and turn left into the National Grid building parking lots.

Park in the last section, which is closest to the door. Because it's Sunday,
you can park anywhere. The main entrance to the building has a covered
walkway with a domed
roof.  If the door is not open, use the telephone to call the security
person who is sitting right inside the door (instructions are posted
near the phone).

for a brief introduction to the project at the heated trailer, then a walk
to see Mosaic Commons Cohousing at 1pm, and Camelot Cohousing at 2pm (the
two communities are sharing the land as Sawyer Hill Ecovillage).

I loved living in my coop house, except for the part about renting, and
people being somewhat transient. Cohousing gives me the opportunity to own
my own home, with friends around who expect to be living in community for a
long time.
