[BCN] Queer friendly veggie co-op seeks new member for 5/1, 6/1

Ever wonder if there's a house out there where
roommates are more than just polite people who pay
their rent on time? Where home cooked vegetarian meals
are the norm? Where people inspire and include each
other in their passions and work?

Look no more!

Millstone Co-op is a community of 8 people living and
working in Somerville (and the broader Metro area) to
make our corner of the world a better place to be. We
also strive to make our house a positive, supportive
and fun place to call home.

Individually or as a house, we love to grow things
indoors and out; we love making, listening to, and
dancing to music; we get involved in local and
national politics; we get addicted to really good TV
series on DVD (e.g. The Office, Lost, and Project
Runway); we brew, bake and can; we read the local free
papers and national news blogs (and sometimes juicy
tabloids); we go to drag shows, karaoke nights, salsa
dances, and bluegrass concerts; we frequent bars and
libraries; and mostly if you're into something we're
all ears (and eyes, hands, feet, etc.)!

We're looking for someone to join our community
starting in May or June. Someone who will bring their
passions into the house and be interested in some of
the things we're already passionate about.

You must be: open minded; gay, queer, and trans
friendly; mature; able to communicate with housemates;
and excited to help build, shape, and care for a
community.

Our house is a safe space for people of all sexual and
gender orientations and we strive to be a community
that thrives on the diversity of our members. People
of all identities are encouraged to apply, especially
queers and people of color.

- 5-7 min walk to Davis Sq T, buses even closer
- directly on the Bikeway
- 8 br, 9 occupants (one couple share a room)
- 2 bathrooms
- shared kitchen (2 fridges, 2 ovens)

- shared library/guest room
- 4, that’s right, 4 porches (hammock included)!!

- coin-op laundry and clothes lines
- composting system
- TV, only for DVD/VHS (no tv or cable)
- off-street parking for cars and bikes

- lovely backyard complete w/ picnic table, flowers
and shrubs
- certifiably kick-ass downstairs neighbors!
