A House Party, fabulous food, raffle, cakewalk, music, dance, and Fair
celebrating and supporting Centro Presente!

Saturday, September 15, 4-9pm
64 Wendell St in Cambridge

Suggested donation / pay what you can
Members & staff of Centro, free

Raffle: massages, yoga classes, computer tune-up, pies and goodies, 
plants, jewelry, beautiful art and photographs, Central American crafts, 
and a double date, among others!

Eatables and Drinkables (sangria!)
and assorted other games and surprises

We are also welcoming and fare-thee-welling Coop members and enjoying 
the fall weather!

We teach ESL at Centro Presente <cpresente.org>, an organization of and 
for the Central American immigrant community.  Through advocacy, local 
and national organizing, legal services and education (we teach English, 
literacy, and computers), Centro works for social and economic justice 
with a strong emphasis on leadership development.  Centro has become 
very important to each of us and we want to give something back during 
this difficult time: raids, rights violations, scape-goating, suspicion. 
 Please join with us in responding to this nonsense with good food, good 
music and some good funds for Centro to continue their work.
