[BCN] Interested in a "co-op lite" or "semi-coop" situation

I have had roommates for most of the last 10 years and
have had mostly positive experiences with most of
them.  I am moving again between May 1 and June 1, and
I am longing for community instead of ships passing in
the night.  

I have never lived in a co-op setting before so I want
to make sure I am comfortable with it before moving,
but I do know I would be more comfortable living in a
smaller group where omnivores are welcome, where
people of conscience live simple, drama free lives,
are laid back and clean, and care passionately about
society and the environment, but where topics of
formal meetings are limited to ensuring things operate
in a harmonious and efficient manner. 

I am a single gay white male, 32 years old.  I have
two well behaved cats who will be coming with me.  I
live in JP and want to stay somewhere in or around
Boston.  

Please respond if you want to know more about me, if
you know of a situation that might fit what I am
looking for, or if you have some words of wisdom.
