    In an effort to expand our fundraising efforts, EarthWorks has signed up as a participating nonprofit with Boston Community Change, an initiative of Boston Main Streets and the Portland, OR-based Interra Project.  Boston Community Change’s free community card works in conjunction with any form of payment – cash, check, credit or debit card – at the point of sale.  With the swipe of the BCC card, citizens receive cash rewards for shopping at local participating merchants.  An equal amount goes to a nonprofit or school of the cardholder’s choice—in our case, to EarthWorks!  Please review the attachment to learn more about the program, why EarthWorks is participating, how you can sign up for a BCC card, and how you can help EarthWorks spread the word about our participation.
