No-one's commented on whether we should present
questions before we meet.

One reason to consider it, is the Board's
Code-of-Ethics, to which every Director must
agree.
Here's the relevant section (from 2002 Board
candidate packet):

    "All directors will maintain
confidentiality as needed to protect the
  co-op's interests and financial viability.
This means that all directors shall not
  discuss disputed or confidential corporate
actions, policies, or issues with co-op
members, employees, or the general public
unless all directors agree that such
  information is no longer confidential.
All issues related to personnel, real
estate, market strategy and goals, pending
litigation, and details of the coop's
  financial status will be considered
  sensitive issues subject to confidentiality
unless or until full disclosure is approved
by the board as a whole."

This means, that if a Director comes to our
meeting, s/he won't be able to tell us much of
anything, unless his/her answers have already
been pre-approved by the whole Board, at a Board
meeting. So, we need the Board to decide how
much they're willing to tell us, *before* we meet
with one or more of them.
Otherwise, the Director will just have to
bullshit us.

But, if you'd rather meet with them like normal
people and have a friendly conversation--then
let's try winging it, and see what happens.
  Whatch'ya think?

Joshua
