Matt,
  I think you're right, about those thwarted
efforts.
  About a year ago, a Harvest employee came to a
Board-meeting with a proposal for a Workers
Committee, for workers to get info and negotiate
grievances.  (I have a copy somewhere...)
  I don't think the Board ever did anything, nor
ever got back to him, about it.
