All,
I'm thinking that maybe we shouldn't invite
Board-members to our first meeting, but rather
should use part of our meeting to draw up a list
of questions--then invite a Board-Member or two,
and maybe also the General-Manager, to our
*second* meeting. That way, they'll know
beforehand what we want to know from them, so
they can prepare and won't feel ambushed.
I propose a first meeting something like this:
--introductions (20 minutes)
--overview (Jeff) (10m)
--discussion (45m)
--draft list of questions for Harvest (20m)
--name our group (10m)
--plan next meeting (10m)
--evaluation (5m)
-----
2 hrs
This would give us a change to meet each other,
and bounce thoughts around, without outsiders on
the hotseat.
It will also let us see what size meeting-space
we might need for our second, larger meeting.
What do you-all think?
