[BCN] Harvest Coop(s)

Michaela,
I know what you mean. My sister lives on Park
Slope in Brooklyn NY, and whenever I visit, I
accompany her to the Park Slope Food Co-op when
she shops (it's Members-only, so I'm not allowed
in alone), and the differences between it and
Harvest are truly depressing.
Adam tells me that the Onion River Co-op, in
Burlington VT, is also well worth visiting.

One thing we should keep in mind when we
compare Harvest to other co-ops, in the context
of thinking about where we want Harvest to go
from here, is that greater-Boston is a very
different city than Brooklyn, or Burlington,
etc., so we can't simply copy other co-ops.
We'll need to newly design for this unique
cultural environment.
But the more co-inspiration, the truer our aim.

Joshua
