BEACON HILL FRIENDS HOUSE
Boston, MA

Kitchen Manager sought, to start on or about September 1, 2006.  Beacon
Hill Friends House is a community of 20 residents guided by Quaker
principles and practices.  The Kitchen Manager’s responsibilities
include: Plan and prepare community dinners five nights per week, order
provisions and stock the kitchen, maintain routine kitchen cleaning and
care of equipment, participate in the life of the residential community,
work with the Directors as needed on other special projects.  Kitchen
Manager’s position is a 25 hour a week job.  Normal days off are Friday
and Saturday.  Experience with cooking and communal living preferred.

Beacon Hill Friends House is located in a beautiful and historic
neighborhood in the center of Boston.  Within easy walking distance are
many cultural, recreational and historic attractions, including the
Boston Common and Charles River Esplanade.  The House is home to Beacon
Hill Friends Meeting (Quaker) and also has short-term guest
accommodations.

Compensation includes room and board in addition to salary and health
