1 room will be available in this 3 bedroom apartment in September.

My partner and I will be sharing one of the three bedrooms with our 2
dogs. We cannot take any more dogs or cats. We have one housemate. All
three of us used to live in coops and have created a home that has some of
the best aspects of coop living that we miss.

About us (this part is about my partner and I, not our roommate, though
she shares many of the values that we have...)...

We are vegetarian and would like to keep the apartment meat-free. We do
not have a television in the apartment and wish to keep it that way. We
keep the apartment very clean and have a structured cleaning rotation that
we all participate in on a weekly basis. We love the outdoors and get out
to hike and climb a lot on the weekends. We are progressive/radical in our
values. We are in our early thirties and are a hetero/bi couple who've
been together for 12 years. We lived in coops for several years and really
enjoyed the practical/communal aspect of sharing food costs and sharing
food. We'd like to find one more housemate who would like to share food
costs rather than keeping everything separate in the kitchen. We are both
educators (He is currently working for Colorado Outward Bound...I am
currently working in a battered womens shelter).

And you?

As already said, we'd like to find housemates who are vegetarian, who will
enjoy living in a TV-free space, who would like to cook together
occasionally and share food/supplies cost, who respects communal space and
have a strong sense of "service to the community" so that you clean up
what is yours and then some, who is progressive, who also loves the
outdoors....

Are you out there? Get in touch with us!

Rent is 515/mo plus utilities. Washer and dryer in basement.

Apartment is 2 minutes from Forest Hills T station and from Arboretum and
from Forest Hills Cemetary.

Peace, Salaam, Shalom.
