 The William Street Coop is subletting a furnished, medium-sized room (about 10 by 10 feet) with closet and two windows, January 1 to April 1, 2007. Rent is about $550, more or less depending on fuel costs. 
 
About us: six m and f, mostly progressives who work for non-profits, vegetarian/vegan, queer friendly, communicative, and sociable. We share chores and cooking, and occasional parties. We like bicycles, music, weekly shared dinners, composting, and sprucing up the house. 
 
 The house is well equipped and has three full baths. There's a barn where you can park your bike. We have a piano, fireplace, and washer and dryer. You would commit to attending monthly house meetings, shopping, and cooking (meatless) three times a month. 
 
 If you would like to experience co-op living and be an active part of the household, please give us a call. If you want no interactions beyond paying your rent, this is not the place. We are specifically not a rooming house.
