Hi. I've been living in a 4-person semi-coop type household that I
initiated a year ago, and am looking for a roommate for a different
type of living situation - starting now or up 'til the end of the
month.

I'm 33/male (& prefer a male roommate), doing some freelance
web/software development - possible starting a business - and
interested in finding a roommate to share a large 2+ bedroom with.
There is one I saw that is 12-minutes walking distance from the Forest
Hills T (orange line), on a quiet street a couple houses in from Hyde
Park Ave. The whole place is $1350, so that would be $675 each plus
utilities (and there's a realtor's fee that's negotiable).

The place is very spacious, with the two bedrooms, kitchen, dining
room, living room, an extra narrow rectangular room in the back,
another extra small room in the front with balcony (2nd floor),
basement with washer/dryer/storage, and a 1-car garage (which you
could have if you like).

I've been interviewing for work so things aren't set yet, but should
be settled within the next week. I have plenty of outside activities,
so although I may be using part of the space for a home office during
the day, I would also be meeting up with clients, and doing various
activities in the evenings. There also a possibility of me taking a
fulltime job.

Since I've lived in a semi-coop, I'm interested in sharing some meals,
but I would imagine we'd have some separate food and some shared stuff
(i.e. no need to have separate milk cartons). What I'm envisioning is
situation where we're comfortable with each other, communicate well,
but also give each other space, and don't have to be best friends.
What I have to focus on primarily is being productive with my work,
but I'd still like to watch a movie once in a while, and have people
over for social gatherings.

That's it for now. Please contact me if you'd like to talk.
